Friday night...Drum Solo fun & Shimmy Shuffle
Drum solo rhythms with percussive movement combos to match
....make your own with guided improvisation & anything goes Shimmy Shuffle

Saturday- Taxim & Musicality with Meg & Rafi'ah..
Some of the aspects to be covered:
- Using the musical score to the song Aziza-
...recognizing symbols, patterns, phrasing, rhythmic layers, subdivisions, high/low notes & tempo changes while listening then relating this to dance interpretation & movement 
--Melodic contours..drawing or mapping on paper
then moving ..
--Maqams...flavor (or feeling)
--Palmas and taxim circle and dancing with Meg on clarinet 
...and whatever else happens....

Sunday... Slow movement, arms, torso and breathing
by Rafi'ah to music played on xylophone
by Clark & Meg on clarinet
to relieve stress and prepare for
"Stage presence & projection...Hone it and Own it"
(performing techniques, projecting emotion)
...staging, entering, exiting and stealing hearts)
